Our Lyceesavanh site management would like to announce a very sad
news to
all our Lyceesavanh friends, and friends of friends
that Ya Pho Khoy Vongkosy ຍາພໍ່ ຄ່ອຍ ວົງໂກສີ (ທ່ານ ຄຣູ ຄ່ອຍ ວົງ ໂກສີ ),
Chanthachone Niemthachith's father passed away on August 6th, 2011, at
5:30AM,
local time, in Savannakhet, Laos. He is 86 years old.
Chanthachone Niemthachith was a former Lyceesavanh student and
she was a classmate to many of us....She is now living in Houston,
Texas.
Many of us our friends of Lyceesavanh knew Ya Pho Khoy very well.
He was teaching "Cour Superior", in Rattanalangsy Elementary school,
for many many years and many of our friends were his students as well.
Chanthanone, her other two younger sisters, two brother-in-laws,
from Houston, Texas,
and also her older brother from Canada are all in Savannakhet
at the moment.
Ya Pho Khoy Vongkosy's funeral is on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at 1:00pm
in Pasaluang, Savannakhet main Cemetery
Those of friends in Laos that would like to offer condolence and sympathy

at Ban Sayamounkhoun, Muong Kaysone Phomvihane, Savannaket, (near the
used-to-be Rattanaransy Elementary school).
