ນາງນນິຕິຍາ ກຳລັງກຽມຕົວກຽມໃຈ ເພື່ອເຂົ້າຊີງເອົາມົງກຸດ Miss USA 2012, ທີ່ ນະຄອນ Las Vegas ໃນ ເດືອນ June 3rd, 2012 ໃນໄວໆນີ້. ພວກເຮົາຄົນລາວທົ່ວຣັດ ມິນນີໂຊຕາ ກໍ ຄື ທົ່ວອະເມຣິກາ ແລະ ທົ່ວໂລກ ຂໍເອົາໃຈຊ່ວຍ ເປັນກຳລັງໃຈ ແລະ ຂໍອວຍພອນໃນໃຫ້ນາງໄດ້ປະສົບກັບຄວາມຕັ້ງໃຈດ້ວຍ...

Nitaya Panemalaythong, Miss Minnesota 2012.

She always smiles before she speaks, she is pretty, charming and and intelligent.

The words charming, beautiful, and intelligent only begin to describe Nitaya Panemalaythong. Her path to the Miss Minnesota USA crown is simply amazing! She won her title right at her first pageant competition, and is the first Lao and also the first Asian American to hold the Miss Minnesota 2012 title.

Nitaya’s father was from the city of Donghenh, Savannakhet, Laos and her mother was from Paksane, Laos.

Born in a refugee camp in Thailand, Nitaya came to America as in infant in 1986. Her family was settled in Minneapolis, Minnesota, then to North Carolina, and then returned to Minnesota again in 2004. Nitaya speaks both Laos and English.

Nitaya’s drive to succeed flourished in high school, where she became a National Beta Club member (recognizing academic achievement, leadership, character, and service), was selected to the Honors A Capella Ensemble as a freshman, and graduated as a North Carolina Scholar.

Currently, Nitaya works full time in an office setting while attending Normandale Community College. Her goal is to attend the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management to obtain a degree in Finance.

The Miss Minnesota USA title will allow Nitaya the opportunity to share her story, as well as encouraging others with the message that anything is possible with determination, drive, and the will to thrive. Certainly Nitaya will impact many others lives during her year as Miss Minnesota USA 2012.

Nitaya will compete with other 51 beautiful girls for the Miss USA 2012 crown on June 3rd, 2012, in Las Vegas, USA.
